Dear mentor, my teacher, dear☏ Saltmarsh, you will forgive me if I take a break from en.wikt for a while. That discussion exhausted me. And here, I have this boring job of correcting 1,500 karharevouses which are wrong...
I was so disappointed with the Mediaeval refusal at en.wikt. I was worried with what -sche and Vahagn Petrosyan said: «repetitions of ancient words», etc. There are repetitions, because it is greek, and greek words survive for a long time. Are they professional linguists? I got worried, and I contacted, among others, the Lexicology Centre (=Babiniotis dictionaries), and I asked if this was a valid argument. They replied, 'of course not' and that the proposal was absolutely valid. I asked them, if possible, to make that 'gkm' ISO code accepted at SIL, just in case these administratos accuse el.wikt of stupidity and amateurism. I was also amazed by the absence of the grc-admins from commenting. hhhh...

☏ Sarri.greek I am so sorry not to have said anything there - I was not confident enough in my ability to present a cogent argument. Holding a rational discussion by text is difficult, waters become muddied by people with only a peripheral interest or knowledge. SO - there is nothing to forgive (perhaps more the other way round!). Good morning ☏ Saltmarsh! Thank you, for your kind words. This was a matter for the grc admins to decide, because they handle med. words. They are not interested in anything except Homer and dialects though.

Katharevousa: back in c.2006-10 many words were imported robotically from a certain dictionary monotonically regardless of whether they were ancient, or katharevousa. or modern. I have to make, the ancient ancient and the katharevousa polytonic, with its own code. I have done half of them. Katharevousa cannot be monotonic, because everything about its declensions, texts, quotations etc, are based excactly at the way the words were accented. (e.g. dative case etc.).
