Project: Wiktionary meets Matica srpska

We would like to inform you about the project. This project aims to increase support for Open Knowledge / Free Content movement through establishing long term strategic partnership with the venerable cultural institution Matica srpska and to increase the quality, accuracy and volume of Wiktionaries through digitization of two dictionaries, while developing a potential model for future development of cooperation across Wiktionaries through targeted mobilization of the communities.

There are two activities within the project that we need your support for. First, we are preparing a list of lexicographical terms (it would contain approximately 100 terms) that needs to be translated into as many languages as possible, in order to ensure further work on the project and to create the foundations for other lexicographical projects in the future. For this task, we would use a separate application, but all of the terms would be inserted into Wiktionaries, as well (making approximately 10,000 new entries per Wiktionary, counting that the terminology would be translated into 100 languages). That would also serve as the preparation for translating the Serbian Ornithological dictionary, which is the second activity.

The Serbian ornithological dictionary encompasses all local names of birds living on the Serbian speaking territory. All names are specified under the appropriate Latin name in accordance with the contemporary classification system. This creates the opportunity to translate it easily to various languages, since the basic list of terms is in Latin and it is fairly small (370 species of birds).

We would like to try and motivate as many Wiktionary communities as possible to participate in translating these two dictionaries, especially since the benefit for each particular Wiktionary would be great - for example, if we succeed to motivate people from 100 Wiktionaries to participate, the amount of primary entries to these 100 Wiktionaries would be 3,700,000 (37,000 per Wiktionary). If we succeed to motivate just 20 Wiktionaries, the amount of entries to these 20 Wikitionaries would be 148,000 basic entries. Of course, these entries would be incorporated into the respective Wiktionaries according to the interest and the rules of each community.

With this project, we are opening cooperation with the venerable Serbian cultural institution Matica srpska [2] and we believe that this partnership will have major impact on future cooperation between Wikimedia organizations and similar institutions in Slavic countries. If this cooperation could be relevant to any other partnership you are trying to establish in your country or globally, we would be more than willing to share our knowledge and contacts.

Besides support in translation, we are open for Wikimedia volunteers to participate more substantially and thus build knowledge inside of the community on how to deal with this kind of data. For example, if you are willing to join the core team and help us in communication with the Wiktionary communities of the languages which you are speaking, please contact Milica (milica.gudovic@yahoo.com) or Milos (millosh@gmail.com) via email. The same goes if you are willing to contribute by coding in Python and/or PHP.

Stewards confirmation rules

Hello, I made a proposal on Meta to change the rules for the steward confirmations. Currently consensus to remove is required for a steward to lose his status, however I think it's fairer to the community if every steward needed the consensus to keep. Funds Dissemination Committee (FDC)
The Funds Dissemination Committee (FDC) makes recommendations about how to allocate Wikimedia movement funds to eligible entities. There are five positions being filled. More information about this role can be found at the FDC elections page.

Funds Dissemination Committee (FDC) Ombud
The FDC Ombud receives complaints and feedback about the FDC process, investigates complaints at the request of the Board of Trustees, and summarizes the investigations and feedback for the Board of Trustees on an annual basis. One position is being filled. More information about this role can be found at the FDC Ombudsperson elections page.

The candidacy submission phase lasts from 00:00 UTC April 20 to 23:59 UTC May 5 for the Board and from 00:00 UTCApril 20 to 23:59 UTC April 30 for the FDC and FDC Ombudsperson. This year, we are accepting both self-nominations and nominations of others. Pywikibot compat will no longer be supported - Please migrate to pywikibot core

Sorry for English, I hope someone translates this.
Pywikibot (then "Pywikipediabot") was started back in 2002. In 2007 a new branch (formerly known as "rewrite", now called "core") was started from scratch using the MediaWiki API. The developers of Pywikibot have decided to stop supporting the compat version of Pywikibot due to bad performance and architectural errors that make it hard to update, compared to core. If you are using pywikibot compat it is likely your code will break due to upcoming MediaWiki API changes (e.g. T101524). It is highly recommended you migrate to the core framework. There is a migration guide, and please contact us if you have any problem.

There is an upcoming MediaWiki API breaking change that compat will not be updated for. If your bot's name is in this list, your bot will most likely break.

Τουλάχιστον όταν δεν έχει επιστρέψει τίποτε η αναζήτηση. HTTPS

Apologies for writing in English.

Hi everyone.

Over the last few years, the Wikimedia Foundation has been working towards enabling HTTPS by default for all users, including unregistered ones, for better privacy and security for both readers and editors. This has taken a long time, as there were different aspects to take into account. Our servers haven't been ready to handle it. The Wikimedia Foundation has had to balance sometimes conflicting goals.

Forced HTTPS has just been implemented on all Wikimedia projects. Some of you might already be aware of this, as a few Wikipedia language versions were converted to HTTPS last week and the then affected communities were notified.

Most of Wikimedia editors shouldn't be affected at all. If you edit as registered user, you've probably already had to log in through HTTPS. We'll keep an eye on this to make sure everything is working as it should. Do get in touch with us if you have any problems after this change or contact me if you have any other questions.

Proposal to create PNG thumbnails of static GIF images

The thumbnail of this gif is of really bad quality.

How a PNG thumb of this GIF would look like

There is a proposal at the Commons Village Pump requesting feedback about the thumbnails of static GIF images: It states that static GIF files should have their thumbnails created in PNG. The advantages of PNG over GIF would be visible especially with GIF images using an alpha channel. (compare the thumbnails on the side)

Εφόσον χρησιμοποιούμε ονόματα προτύπων κλίσης που περιέχουν στο όνομά τους μία από τις λέξεις που κλίνονται με τον τρόπο που δείχνει το πρότυπο, θα πρέπει να δημιουργούμε ξεχωριστά πρότυπα για κάθε εναλλακτική μορφή και να μην έχουν καθόλου παραμέτρους. Κάποιος που θέλει να χρησιμοποιήσει ένα πρότυπο κλίσης βρίσκεται μπροστά σε δίλημμα όταν η λέξη στην οποία θέλει να αναφερθεί δεν κλίνεται ακριβώς όπως και το περιεχόμενο στο όνομα του προτύπου, υπόδειγμα. Να ψάξει περαιτέρω για άλλο πρότυπο; μήπως κάνει λάθος; να δημιουργήσει άλλο πρότυπο; Μάλλον θα πρέπει όντως να δημιουργήσουμε επιπλέον πρότυπα, τα οποία μπορούν να χρησιμοποιούν το "αρχικό" πρότυπο με τις παραμέτρους που χρειάζονται. Για παράδειγμα: Αφού το μπάστακας δεν κλίνεται όπως το αγώνας, να δημιουργήσουμε πρότυπο μπάστακας (ή μανικιουρίστας ή άλλο που δεν έχει γενική πληθυντικού) το οποίο απλά θα καλεί το αγώνας με παράμετρο. Στην παρουσίαση θα συμμετάσχει και η μαθήτρια του Εσπερινού Λυκείου Αργοστολίου Αναστασία Συνοδινού η οποία έκανε τις περισσότερες συνεισφορές στην Κατηγορία "Κεφαλονίτικο Ιδίωμα" στο πλαίσιο της ερευνητικής εργασίας στην Α' Λυκείου το σχολ. έτος 2014-15. Αν και η γλώσσα συγγραφής του paper είναι η αγγλική (για λόγους διευκόλυνσης της διάχυσης στα εγχειρήματα εκτός Ελλάδας), η παρουσίαση θα γίνει στα ελληνικά. Περισσότερες πληροφορίες εδώ. Με την ευκαιρία να ευχαριστήσουμε θερμά την κοινότητα για τη βοήθεια και την αμέριστη υποστήριξη που μας προσέφερε κατά τη διάρκεια του project:)

Ελπίζουμε ότι η δουλειά μας θα επεκταθεί με νέα λήμματα στην κατηγορία, καθώς και συνεισφορές σε άλλα εγχειρήματα Wikimedia: έχω υποβάλει πρόταση για IEG και θα ήθελα να τη δείτε και να σχολιάσετε. Ο τίτλος είναι Wikitherapy και αφορά την ένταξη μη-προνομιούχων ατόμων (ασθενείς, άτομα με ψυχοκοινωνικά προβλήματα κ.α.) στην κοινότητα συντακτών των εγχειρημάτων Wikimedia. Η πολύχρονη εμπειρία μου στη χρήση των εγχειρημάτων Wikimedia ως εκπαιδευτικά εργαλεία σε μαθησιακό περιβάλλον με εγγενείς δυσκολίες (εργαζόμενοι μαθητές δεύτερης ευκαιρίας, κοινωνικός αποκλεισμός, μαθησιακές δυσκολίες κ.α.) ήταν η έμπνευση για να σχεδιάσω ένα πρόγραμμα όπου το περιβάλλον wiki γίνεται εργαλείο θεραπείας, δλδ Βικιθεραπεία:) Εδώ ο σύνδεσμος: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:IEG/Wikitherapy

πελίνος (αρχαία ελληνικά)

(Μεταφορά από πελίνος) Ο τύπος πελλός υπάρχει στα αρχαία ελληνικά και δεν ξέρω αν η σλαβική λέξη пелин έχει σχέση μ’ αυτή και με τις άλλες διαλέκτους που αναφέρονται. Αν δεν αποδειχθεί η ύπαρξη της αρχαιοελληνικής λέξης και η σχέση με τη βουλγαρική (αν υπάρχει), πρέπει να σβηστεί. Όσο για το Βορειοελλαδικό σλαβικό ιδίωμα, δεν νομίζω ότι πρέπει να γίνονται εισαγωγές λημμάτων στην ελληνική γλώσσα αλλά στη σλαβική. Έχει και παραέχει. Τα γράφει ο Γεώργιος Ντελόπουλος, άλλοτε καθηγητής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. «Η Μακεδονία στη ιστορική συγκριτική γλωσσολογία των Βαλκανίων», Πρακτικά Ε΄ Συμποσίου Ι.Μ.Χ.Α για τη λαογραφία του Βορειοελλαδικού χώρου, Θεσσαλονίκη 1989. Πρέπει να γίνονται βέβαια στην ελληνική. Για ποια σλαβική μας ομιλείτε.Είναι προφορικό το ιδίωμα, όπως τα βλάχικα και τα αρβανίτικα και το σημαντικότερο ομιλείται στις συνοριακές γραμμές της βορείου Ελλάδας, όπως ομιλούνταν επί τουρκοκρατίας χωρίς προσθήκες σερβοκροατικών που διδάχθηκαν στο τότε Ομόσπονδο κρατίδιο της γιουγκοσλαβικής μακεδονίας επί 50 και πλέον έτη και χωρίς κυριλλική γραφή. Τα γράφω για να κατανοηθεί, ότι άλλες γλώσσες (ολοκληρωμένες με σερβοκροατικές και αγγλικές λέξεις τύπου αμσουλούτε, μπάλανς, περιφέρεια, έποχα, περιοντ...) είναι η βουλγαρική και η σλαβομακεδονική και άλλο το σλαβοφανές (φωνητικά κυρίως) μεικτό ιδίωμα. Όπως φαίνεται στο λήμμα υποστηρίζεται ότι το πελίνο είναι βουλγαρικής προέλευσης. Το άφησα· είναι κι αυτή μια άποψη. Στα Σκόπια έχουν συστήσει Ινστιτούτο 25 διαλέκτων της «Μακεδονικής» ακόμα και της Καστοριάς και των Πρεσπών... ποιας μακεδονικής!!! και σεις τολμάτε να μας πείτε να γράφουμε εκεί!!

Μια πρώτη γλωσσολογική προσέγγιση Το

• Ευαγγέλιο της Κουλακιάς στη Βικιπαίδεια  της σημερινής Χαλάστρας Θεσσαλονίκης γράφτηκε στα ελληνικά στις 30 Νεομεβρίου 1863. Μετά από αυτά οφείλεται να διαγράψετε την ένδειξη περί διαγραφής. Δεν μας ενδιαφέρουν εδώ ιδεοληψίες. Και στο εγχείρημα Βικιπαίδεια συνάντησα τέτοιου είδους αντιδράσεις, όχι όμως νομίζω ελλήνων εκπαιδευτικών. Και για να τελειώνω οριστικά πλέον πρέπει να κατανοηθεί: «Ότι οι σλαβομακεδόνες κι αυτοί οι ελάχιστοι του ουρανίου τόξου και οι προσκείμενοι προς τους σκοπιανούς εντός ελλαδικού χώρου είτε από άγνοια είτε λόγω προγονικών καταβολών να γράφουν εκεί. Εδώ γράφουν κυρίως οι απόγονοι των Μακεδονομάχων, των πατριαρχικών και όχι των εξαρχικών και εκείνων κυρίως των δίγλωσσων σλαβοφώνων, 'οπως δίγλωσοι είναι και οι Βλάχοι και οι αρβανίτες, που εναντιώθηκαν στο λεγόμενο ΔΣ». Ο Τίτο ήταν ο μοιραίος άνθρωπος για τους σλαβομακεδόνες και όχι ο Βαν Βλητ.

• Να θυμίσω ότι τα λήμματα από τα βλάχικα/αρωμουνικά δεν εισάγονται στην ελληνική γλώσσα αλλά σε χωριστή κατηγορία.
• Στο συγκεκριμένο λήμμα (πελίνος) διαπίστωσα ότι γινόταν προσπάθεια μια λέξη σλαβικής ετυμολογικές αρχής να συνδεθεί με αρχαιοελληνική λέξη ΑΣΤΗΡΙΚΤΑ. Δεν γνωρίζω αν το βουλγαρικό пелин έχει σχέση με λατινικά ή αρχαία ελληνικά
• Πάντως τη λέξη πελίνος στα αρχαία ελληνικά λεξικά δεν την βρήκα και γι’ αυτό την έσβησα. Η αυθαίρετη εισαγωγή της πάντως με γέμισε υποψίες...

Το όλον θέμα είναι λεπτό και συνάμα εθνικό και άπτεται στην σφαίρα της αλλοτινής βουλγαρικής προπαγάνδας και της σημερινής σκοπιανής που επηρέασαν ακόμα και την επιστημονική κοινότητα. Οι Σλαβόφωνοι αρχικά διαχωρίστηκαν σε πατριαρχικούς και εξαρχικούς και κατά τη διάρκεια του εμφυλίου πολέμου αποκλήθηκαν σύμπαντες σλαβομακεδόνες από τον ΔΣΕ στα πλαίσια της εξισορρόπησης των γιουγκοσλαβικών και βουλγαρικών συμφερόντων. Κάποτε το 1900 εν όψει της εξέγερσης του Ίλιντεν ο γραμματέας του βουλγαρικού εξαρχάτου Brankoff ανέφερε όλοι Βούλγαροι, όπως και σήμερα αναφέρουν οι Σκοπιανοί όχι απλά Σλαβομακεδόνες αλλά «Μακεδόνες». Ακόμα και οι ελληνόφρονες (πατριαρχικοί), αυτοί που κατοικούν επί σειρά ετών εντός ελλαδικού χώρου. Τον προσδιορισμό της γλώσσας δεν την ορίζει η φωνητική χροιά αλλά κυρίως η γραμματική και το συντακτικό που στην προκειμένη περίπτωση είναι ανύπαρκτα. Το να μην υποστηρίζουμε, όπως στα χρόνια του Μεταξά απαγορεύτηκε, την ιδιαιτερότητα της γλώσσας, άθελά μας προσφέρουμε υπηρεσία στην σκοπιανή προπαγάνδα. Το γλωσσικό αυτό ιδίωμα με όχι περισσότερες από 1.500 λέξεις ομιλείται σήμερα σε κάποιες συνοριακές περιοχές της Βορείου Ελλάδας χωρίς επιστημονικούς όρους, όπως ομιλούνταν επί τουρκοκρατίας και προσωπικά πιστεύω ότι είναι γλώσσα Πούτζιν με πολλές λέξεις τούρκικες, λατινικές, από τους Βλάχους και πολλές ελληνικές και καμία αγγλική που βρίθει το Σκοπιανό λεξικό. Και ως προφορικό ιδίωμα δεν διδάσκεται. Το ουράνιο Τόξο έκανε μια προσπάθεια μέσω του Ευρωπαϊκού Φόρουμ «Των ολιγότερο ομιλουμένων γλωσσών» να λειτουργήσουν μερικά σχολεία στη Φλώρινα. Να διδαχθούν τι!!! σερβοκροατικά, όπως εμπλουτίσθηκε η γλώσσα τους για περισσότερα από πενήντα χρόνια και αγγλικά για την απόδοση των επιστημονικών όρων;Μα επί Τίτο υπήρχαν σερβοκροατικά σχολεία και όχι «Μακεδονικά». Πλάκα μάς κάνουν τώρα. Τέλος θεωρείται αναξιόπιστη την αναφορά του Γεώργιου Ντελόπουλου;, ενώ θεωρείται αξιόπιστες τις πηγές τύπου Μπράνκοφ. Υπάρχουν υπερβολές και από τις τρεις πλευρές για εκείνο όμως που είμαι σίγουρος είναι ότι οι ελληνικές πηγές περιέχουν πολλά αξιόπιστα στοιχεία. Αν θέλετε να προσφέρετε, ως φιλόλογος, στην ελληνική υπόθεση πρέπει να στηρίξετε το ορθό δηλαδή «Την ιδιαιτερότητα του γλωσσικού σλαβοφανούς ιδιώματος» Φαίνεται από τη προφορά σλαβικό. • Ακροτελεύτιον

Δεν λέω, είστε καλός φιλόλογος πλην όμως μερικά πράγματα χρειάζονται ιδιαίτερης προσοχής. Ανήκετε και εσείς στην ελληνική επιστημονική κοινότητα και έμεινα εμβρόντητος με τη θέση που πήρατε και αναλογίστηκα ότι δεν υπάρχει καμιά ελπίδα να μεταστραφεί πλέον η διεθνής ειδική επιστημονική κοινότητα επί του προκειμένου θέματος. Κι΄ αυτό γιατί: Είστε από τη Θεσσαλονίκη και θέλω να πιστεύω ότι έχετε επισκεφθεί τουλάχιστον ένα από τρία χωριά, Σοχός, Μελισσοχώρι, Χαλάστρα. Αυτούς τους δίγλωσσους τους ταυτίζεται με τους Σλαβομακεδόνες με τα σερβοκροατικά, τα κυριλλικά τους και τους ευσεβείς και ανεδαφικούς τους πόθους; Σας πληροφορώ ότι και όσοι διώχθηκαν ή αυτοεξορίστηκαν στο τέλος και μετά τη λήξη του εμφυλίου πολέμου (κατ΄ αλλους ανταρτοπολέμου για ν΄ αναφέρω ένα ήπιο χαρακτηρισμό- πάντα υπάρχουν κι οι άλλοι εκατέρωθεν-) ακόμα και τα παιδιά τους δεν γνωρίζουν ελληνικά. Αν ναι τότε ταυτίζεται και τους δίγλωσσους Πόντιους της πρώτης γενεάς και τους δίγλωσσους Αρβανίτες και Βλάχους. Και σας τα λεω αυτά γιατί ο Μητροπάνος είχει πει ότι, όταν πήγαινε στα Τρίκαλα μιλούσε αρβανίτικα με τη γιαγιά του και ο Θεόδωρος Πάγκαλος είχε δηλώσει ότι γνωρίζει αρβανίτικα. Ποια η διαφορά! Απλά, βάσει της γλώσσας κανείς δεν τους διεκδικεί στις μέρες μας, ενώ τους σλαβόφωνους και λόγω γειτνίασης εκμεταλλεύτηκαν αυτό το ιδίωμα αρχικά οι Βούλγαροι μετά οι Γιουγκοσλάβοι και σήμερα οι Σκοπιανοί.Η ιδιαιτερότητα της γλώσσας και η υιοθέτηση των πολιτιστικών στοιχείων μιας χώρας είναι η ειδοποιός διαφορά.

Η ομάδα Community Tech του Ιδρύματος Wikimedia ασχολείται με την οικοδόμηση βελτιωμένων εργαλείων σχετικά με την επιμέλεια για έμπειρους συντάκτες του Wikimedia. Αυτή τη στιγμή, διεξάγουμε την Έρευνα για επιθυμητά εργαλεία (Community Wishlist Survey) προς ανάδειξη ιδεών για χρήσιμα εργαλεία στα οποία θα μπορούσαμε να επικεντρωθούμε.

Για την πρώτη φάση της έρευνας, προσκαλούμε τους ενεργούς συντάκτες να καταθέσουν σύντομες προτάσεις των ιδεών τους, εξηγώντας γιατί είναι σημαντικές για εκείνους. Η πρώτη φάση θα διαρκέσει 2 εβδομάδες. Κατα την διάρκεια της δεύτερης φάσης, θα διεξαχθεί ψηφοφορία για τις προτάσεις. Κατόπιν, θα επιλέξουμε τις 10 δημοφιλέστερες προτάσεις και θα δημιουργήσουμε μια λίστα προτεραιότητας.

Αν και το μεγαλύτερο τμήμα της διαδικασίας θα διεξαχθεί στην Αγγλική γλώσσα, συντάκτες από οποιοδήποτε εγχείρημα Wikimedia μπορούν να καταθέσουν τις προτάσεις τους. Θα προσκαλέσουμε εθελοντές μεταφραστές για να μεταφραστούν οι προτάσεις στα Αγγλικά.

Η πρότασή σου πρέπει να περιλαμβάνει: μια περίληψη του προβλήματος που θέλεις να λύσεις, ποιός θα επωφεληθεί και την προτινόμενη λύση, εαν έχεις κάποια. Μπορείς να καταθέσεις την πρότασή σου στον ιστότοπο της έρευνας Community Wishlist, χρησιμοποιόντας τον χώρο εισαγωγής κειμένου και το μεγάλο μπλε κουμπί. Καταθέσεις προτάσεων θα γίνονται δεκτές για δυο εβδομάδες, μέχρι και τις 23 Νοεμβρίου.

If you want to carefully review nearly a thousand applications in January, you might be a perfect committee member. Otherwise, you can volunteer as "ambassador": you will observe all the committee activities, ensure that people from your language or project manage to apply for a scholarship, translate scholarship applications written in your language to English and so on. Ambassadors are allowed to ask for a scholarship, unlike committee members.

This is to inform all Wikimedia contributors that a straw poll seeking your involvement has just been started on Meta-Wiki.

As some of your might be aware, a small group of Wikimedia volunteers have proposed a banner campaign informing Wikipedia readers about the urgent situation of our fellow Wikipedian, open source software developer and Creative Commons activist, Bassel Khartabil. An exemplary banner and an explanatory page have now been prepared, and translated into about half a dozen languages by volunteer translators.

We are seeking your involvement to decide if the global Wikimedia community approves starting a banner campaign asking Wikipedia readers to call on the Syrian government to release Bassel from prison. We understand that a campaign like this would be unprecedented in Wikipedia's history, which is why we're seeking the widest possible consensus among the community.

Given Bassel's urgent situation and the resulting tight schedule, we ask everyone to get involved with the poll and the discussion to the widest possible extent, and to promote it among your communities as soon as possible.

Ξεκινάμε την δεύτερη φάση της Έρευνας Επιθυμητών Εργαλείων (Community Wishlist Survey) της ομάδας Community Tech, και προσκαλούμε όλους τους ενεργούς συντάκτες στην ψηφοφορία των προτάσεων που έχουν κατατεθεί.

Χάρη σε εσένα και άλλους συντάκτες του Wikimedia, 111 προτάσεις κατατέθηκαν στην ομάδα. Έχουμε χωρίσει τις προτάσεις σε διάφορες κατηγορίες, και τώρε έφθασε η στιγμή της ψηφοφορίας! Μπορείς να ψηφίσεις οποιαδήποτε πρόταση είναι αναρτημένη στους ιστοτόπους, χρησιμοποιόντας την ετικέτα {{Support}}. Μπορείς να προσθέσεις σχόλια υπέρ ή κατά, αλλά μόνο οι ψήφοι υπέρ θα υπολογιστούν στην καταμέτρηση. Η περίοδος της ψηφοφορίας είναι 2 εβδομάδες, και θα λάβει τέλος στις 14 Δεκεμβρίου.

Get involved in Wikipedia 15!

As many of you know, January 15 is Wikipedia’s 15th Birthday!

People around the world are getting involved in the celebration and have started adding their events on Meta Page. While we are celebrating Wikipedia's birthday, we hope that all projects and affiliates will be able to utilize this celebration to raise awareness of our community's efforts.

Haven’t started planning? Don’t worry, there’s lots of ways to get involved. Here are some ideas:

• Join/host an event. We already have more than 80, and hope to have many more.
• Talk to local press. In the past 15 years, Wikipedia has accomplished extraordinary things. We’ve made a handy summary of milestones and encourage you to add your own. More resources, including a press release template and resources on working with the media, are also available.
• Design a Wikipedia 15 logo. In place of a single icon for Wikipedia 15, we’re making dozens. Add your own with something fun and representative of your community. Just use the visual guide so they share a common sensibility.
• Share a message on social media. Tell the world what Wikipedia means to you, and add #wikipedia15 to the post. We might re-tweet or share your message!

Everything is linked on the Wikipedia 15 Meta page. You’ll find a set of ten data visualization works that you can show at your events, and a list of all the Wikipedia 15 logos that community members have already designed.
