☏ Sarri.greek Wait but you responded so how is ping not working? What’s the best way to ask you a question if ping doesn’t work?

I’m not sure what you mean by the example is not “characteristic” but if you think it’s not a good example I think we need a new one. The point is it’s an επίρρημα if too much modifies the verb and an επίθετο if it’s modifying a noun. Honestly, most English speakers couldn’t tell you the reason for the difference. Most people would just know if it doesn’t “sound right” so it’s important to point it out for English learners to sound fluent themselves. ανυπόγραφο σχόλιο του χρήστη Stephilippou (συζήτησησυνεισφορά) UTC 12 Οκτωβρίου 2022, 06:17.

Example-sentences or glossae for native speakers and for non native speakers may be quite different (much more simple glossae for non native readers). Keep checking en.wiktionary: sometimes they have good & simple examples. Also, get an idea of the dictionary-examples style e.g. words like τόσο@ΛΚΝ (how would one translate them). Constructed, made-up glossae and sentences are a good thing, when you try to juxtapose 2 similar expressions, to show clearly the difference in their usage. E.g. my examples (not that they are perfect) at Σκανδιναβός/σκανδιναβός.
E.g. here: you talk too much. You talk so much that I cannot ... blahhh....
You are doing very well, all your edits are extremely useful για το Βικιλεξικό, but you need to get acquainted με πολλά λήμματα σε λεξικά, και το στιλ τους. ‑‑Sarri.greek  | 06:37, 12 Οκτωβρίου 2022 (UTC)[απάντηση]
☏ Stephilippou. As for μέρος λόγου (POS) en:part of speech, and grammatical descriptions of a word; that is a fundamental duty of dictionaries. Native speakers sometimes do not realise such things. Which is why we go to school and 'learn' our own languages. One needs to understand the different synbtax for words.
Φοβάμαι τρομερά. Έχω έναν τρομερό φόβο.
